In 2021, Colin Trevorrow also described the animal as the "largest carnivore known to humankind" in an interview.[3] The second trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion featured Alan Grant stating the animal was the "biggest carnivore the world has ever seen."[4] Empire magazine published an article on the third Jurassic World film, including details on the Giganotosaurus, describing it as "an 11-ton, 22-foot-tall dinosaur."
