Carter Burwell, composer for Twilight (2008), returned to the franchise to score this movie and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Parte 2 (2012) as Burwell had worked with director Bill Condon before. However, in an interview given in 2015 he admitted to not finding the experience particularly interesting as a composer.
