During its IMAX 70mm engagements, the film was preceded by the 7-minute opening sequence of Dunkirk (2017). Additionally, Rogue One was one of only two features in 2016 to receive an IMAX 70mm release; the other being Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
