Originally, "The Giant Bacteria" was planned to air as the first episode of the series. Instead, "The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice" was aired as the first episode, because of the huge box-office success of Jurassic Park (1993) and also the increasing interests of the audience in dinosaurs during this period due to "Jurassic Park".
