The movie has four alumni from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU): director Shane Black directed Iron Man 3 (2013) which starred Robert Downey Jr. (Sid Shattuck) and Ty Simpkins (Bobby); and Angourie Rice (Holly) was in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and its sequels. While not in any movie, Keith David voiced several characters in Marvel-related cartoons and video games.
