All of the car parks in Newton Haven (with the exception of side streets that the shot passes on) are populated with Vauxhall Amperas in different colours, foreshadowing the underlying uniformity that is affecting the town. Also, the Vauxhall Ampera is a plug-in electric car, which is another reference to the robots.
