Among the differences between the show's beginnings as the "Love and the Happy Days" episode on "Love, American Style (1969)" and its premiere two years later as a series is that the role of Howard Cunningham originally was played by Harold Gould instead of Tom Bosley and there was no Fonzie on that episode.
