In the scene where KC is presenting information to a small group of people at a hotel, the wallpaper pattern in that hotel matches the iconic wallpaper pattern in The Shining (1980). This seems to be a nod to the rumor that the moon landing was fake and directed by Stanley Kubrick (director of The Shining).
