In episode 23 of Season 4, Frasier receives a message from a woman on his answering machine saying she was flying into Seattle on American Airlines Flight 11. On September 11, 2001, AA 11 was one of the first of the two planes to crash into the World Trade Center with series creator and producer David Angell on board.
