(For 'Spectre') Writer-director Cary Joji Fukunaga revealed to 'Interview Magazine' that he initially toyed with the idea of having a major twist halfway though the movie. It stated that the events of the last act of 'Spectre' (2015) and of the first part of this film were actually only happening in James Bond's mind as he was still connected to Blofeld's torture machine in 'Spectre' (2015), having only imagined his escape and the following events. The idea never went beyond an initial consideration though.
