Although Rigby's dad was shown being nice in season five, episode thirteen, "The Thanksgiving Special". In later episodes, he was shown as being a rude jerk who cares little about Rigby, and only about his car. This reflected some real-life adults who are only nice during the holiday season, and are world-class jerks the rest of the year.
