In the Ultimate Cut, Wallace Keefe states to Senator June that since he lost his legs, his wife walked out on him. However, in the scene where Keefe spray-paints 'False God' on the Superman statue, he is shown laying a photograph of his wife and daughter at the memorial, implying that his wife and child were collateral damage during the fight between Zod and Superman that leveled half of Metropolis. Drawing from that, it's possible that Keefe is reading from a script like Kahina was as both were manipulated by Lex Luthor to discredit Superman.
