The actor who played Tony's nemesis, Dr. Bellows (Hayden Rorke), was 18 years older than the actress who played his TV wife, Amanda Bellows (Emmaline Henry). During the run of "I Dream of Jeannie", Hayden Rorke was in his late 50s (turning 60 in the show's last year), while Emmaline Henry was in her 30s. Yet although both actors eventually died of cancer, the older actor outlived the younger actress by eight years, with Emmaline passing away in 1979, while Hayden lived until 1987.
