'The Delinquents' (1962) was the first of only two novels written by Australian writer Deirdre Cash who wrote her books under the pseudonym of the Irish name of Criena Rohan. her second and final work was 'Down by the Dockside' (1963). An alleged unfound unpublished third work in manuscript form is apparently entitled 'The House with the Golden Door'.
