Remarkably, for a production of this size and scale, show-runner Nick Santora never once met either lead star Alan Ritchson or Reacher book series writer Lee Child in person. The entire process of designing the show, writing, auditioning, etc was done by him over zoom. At the time of the first season's release on Amazon Prime streaming, he still hadn't met them in person.
