The only reason Keven Costner was able to film 'Field Of Dreams' was because 'Revenge' got delayed several times. Costner really liked the Field Of Dreams script and was so frustrated with the delays on the start of Revenge that he finally told them he was going to do Field Of Dreams. There was some push back but Costner promised to do Revenge as soon as Field Of Dreams was wrapped.
