In the opening scene when Tara looks up the Stab cast, it is shown that Tori Spelling plays Sidney Prescott. In the original Scream, Tatum jokingly asks Sidney who she thinks will play Sidney if they make a movie about her. Sidney says, "with my luck, they'd cast Tori Spelling."
