Prior to joining the LCPD, Jim Corrigan (James Darren), was a member of the San Francisco Police Department, and moonlighted as a race car driver. He also speaks fluent Spanish which is revealed in T.J. Hooker: A Kind of Rage (1984)(#4.9).
