Some controversy surfaced over the first several seasons of the show. When Peppa and her family are in their car, nobody was wearing seatbelts. The producers considered the criticism so important that they reportedly ordered replacement animation for those shots. When those early episodes are now shown, Peppa and her family are shown properly bucked up.
