Due to him being immortal, Hades, along with Governor Ratcliffe (who is a human), are the only Disney Renaissance villains that do not die at the end of his film, meaning he'd be able to find a way out of his fate. Jafar, although he did not die at the end of Aladdin (1992), actually dies at the end of the Straight to Video/DVD Sequel Il ritorno di Jafar (1994).
