When Agent Kallus escorts Minister Tua to the docking bay, there are troopers waiting for them alongside a 9D9-S54 Dianoga spy droid hovering near them. Kallus uses the droid to track the movements of Tua and to record footage of the Rebels that ends up on the Imperial news-feed. The fact that this droid was named after the trash compactor monster from Guerre stellari (1977) was revealed in the 2015 tie-in reference book "Star Wars Rebels: Visual Guide: Epic Battles" by Adam Bray.
