Linda acts as somewhat of an older sister to Stacy. She gives her lots of advice and speaks of her experience (which is possibly fake as she says comments that contradict each other) and comments on how young and innocent Stacy is as well as looks out for her and wants to seek revenge when Stacy gets hurt. In reality, The actress who plays Stacy, Jennifer Jason Leigh, is actually a year older than the actress who plays Linda, Phoebe Cates.
