In the movie, Anita's last name is Darling. This marks the third time that the character's name has been changed. In the book, she was simply known as Mrs. Dearly. In One Hundred and One Dalmatians (1961), the character was renamed Anita Radcliffe. In the live-action 101 Dalmatians (1996), her last name was changed to Dearly.
