When Stan is watching the talk shows, one broadcaster says that the lady in the sausage costume who runs around the field has a better chance of getting a hit than Stan does. In July 2003, Randall Simon of the Pittsburgh Pirates was swinging a bat at the top of the dugout at Miller Park and accidentally hit a girl who was wearing one of the sausage costumes.
