Lily Collins (Rosie) parents are British rockstar Phil Collins and American actress Jill Tavelman, yet she has an American accent. She grew up in Guildford, United Kingdom, until she was 6 years old, she spoke differently until she moved to the United States. As a child, she actually worked hard to lose her British accent. Her accent in the movie is not her own.
