One of the rare commercial films where Deepti Naval played a lead role. This film was made in 1982 but due to the debacle of Deedar e Yaar which was also a muslim social like Ye ishq nahi aasan , the film was delayed and got a release in December 1984. By that time Rishi Kapoor and Padmini both were down with continous flops. And therefore this film couldn't make a mark at the box office
