Matt Smith (Lucien/Milo) is the fourth actor who played an incarnation of Doctor Who (Smith was the Eleventh Doctor) to appear in a comic book adaptation, after Christopher Eccleston (the Ninth Doctor and Malekith in Thor: The Dark World (2013)), David Tennant (the Tenth Doctor and the Purple Man in Jessica Jones (2015)), and Peter Capaldi (the Twelfth Doctor and the Thinker in The Suicide Squad - Missione suicida (2021)). All four have taken on villainous comic-book roles.
