Both Betty White and Ken Berry guest starred on The Carol Burnett Show (1967) numerous times.The cast did The Family sketch during some of White's guest appearances, allowing her to play Eunice and Phillip's sister (and Mama's oldest daughter), Ellen. However, the Carol Burnett cast never did any of The Family sketches during Berry's guest appearances. Berry would finally portray Phillip in the 1982 special, Eunice. This morphed into the character, Vinton for this show.
