Just like how Ghostface Killah (aka Tony Starks) had a cameo in "Iron Man (2008)," Method Man's cameo in "Luke Cage" is relevant to his comic book-inspired alias as "John Blaze," albeit in a more roundabout way. John Blaze was played by Nicolas Cage in "Ghost Rider (2007)" and in "Ghost Rider - Spirito di vendetta (2011)." Nicolas Cage was originally named Nicolas Coppola and has admitted that his stage name "Cage" was inspired by none other than comic book character Luke Cage.
