During season one, Jeannie's mother was portrayed by Florence Sundstrom and Lurene Tuttle, in later episodes Strega per amore: Jeannie and the Wild Pipchicks (1968) and Strega per amore: Is There a Doctor in the House? (1969). Barbara Eden accepted the additional character role.
