The lovely, if not really appropriate choral music for the opening and closing titles was selected mainly because it was free. The "Angel's Serenade" by Gaetano Braga was composed in 1867 and was well out of copyright by 1951. The version heard here was performed by the Jeff Alexander Chorus.
