Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes' verse in the song "Make Some Noize" was originally intended for Left Eye's feature on the MC Lyte track "Ruffneck". The collaboration did not happen due to TLC's manager, Pebbles Reid, wanting a high percentage of the royalties.
