Starting early in the second season, producers were restricted from using all Batman-related characters besides Batman himself and a few C-list villains who didn't appear on Batman (1992). This was because a new unrelated show called The Batman (2004) was set to air on another network, the WB. This led to a change in the episode, "Double Date" which would have featured Barbara Gordon/Batgirl as a main character, she would have gotten injured while working on a case as Batgirl and affer Batman prohibits her from further investigation, she would recreate herself as Oracle and have Huntress and Black Canary come together and finish the case for her although the two would not meet her in person. Due to the restriction she was replaced with Green Arrow and The Question and Huntress was the focus of the story.
