The house where Tony Nelson and Jeannie lived was the same house used earlier as the home of Dagwood and Blondie Bumstead, in the successful "Blondie" movie series of the 1940s. As a result, the entire faux block, an outdoor set at Warner Ranch in Burbank, California, was known as "Blondie Street". In the 1950s, the same house served as the home of the Anderson family in the hit sitcom "Father Knows Best", starring Robert Young. And in between, it was also the home to grouchy neighbor Mister Wilson on "Dennis the Menace". The "Jeannie" house sits between the "Donna Reed Show" house (to its right), and "The Partridge Family" house (to its left). The entire "Blondie Street" block was used in the 1998 movie "Pleasantville" as its idealized TV neighborhood.
