When Vijeyta complained to Rajendra Kumar about getting a raw deal in Love Story, he stated he made the film for KumR Gaurav and not for her. Vijeyta mentioned Rajendra Kumar was envious of Sanjay Dutt in the beginning of his career. Rajendra got angry at Vijeyta for attending the mahurat of Rocky. Vijeta Pandit had invited Sanjay to the mahurat of Love Story. Sanjay refused saying he felt uncomfortable around Rajendra Kumar.
