Among this series' recurring motifs were amusing visual jokes, labored but funny verbal puns and satirical recreations/re-enactments of iconic sequences from classic movies - among them the opening mountaintop scene from Tutti insieme appassionatamente (1965), James Stewart's feverish dream from La donna che visse due volte (1958) and the first avian attack on Tippi Hedren from Alfred Hitchcock's Gli uccelli (1963).
