The elder Adam and the younger Adam are staying at the Pine Ridge Motel with a logo of three pine trees. This is a reference to Ritorno al futuro (1985) from the Twin Pines Mall and Lone Pine Mall scenes where Dr. Emmett Brown shows Marty McFly the new DeLorean time machine.
