"Dominique", the song we hear repeatedly during season two, was interpreted by a Belgian nun called Soeur Sourire and was a big hit in Belgium, France and elsewhere during the 1960s. She commited suicide with barbiturates on March 29, 1985 because of financial problems. "Soeur Sourire" is French for "Sister Smile".
