'Angels with Filthy Souls' did not originally have a title (it was simply referred to as 'Gangster Film' in the script). The title was knocked up during filming in homage to Gli angeli con la faccia sporca (1938) when they realized they needed a title for the label of the video cassette Kevin puts in the VCR.
