Sonic - Il film

The Piston Pit slow-mo bar fight scene is clearly a nod to another well known speedster - Quicksilver. In "X-Men: Days of Future Past", when Quicksilver helps break Magneto out of his cell, he, like Sonic, is moving so fast, he has time to interact with objects and people seemingly frozen in time.
