When they build the giant Ginger bread man, the scene where he his conducted thru the streets, is a precise mimic of when the giant Adam has to be attracted with an Ice Cream Van in order to go where he is supposed to. In Shrek 2, donkey has to use the same technique with the giant Gingerbread man (but not with an Ice Cream Van).
