Coffy
The scene in which Vernita and The Bride stand deadlocked in a blade fight mirrors the scene between Harriet & Coffy. Vernita also uses Harriet's line from this scene; "Come on, bitch!"; 'Coffy' was also one of three films shown to Uma Thurman to prepare her for her role as The Bride.
