In this episode Mandy Patinkins character says in court "You're a part of the conspiracy and you don't even know it." It references the first episode of Mr. Show with Bob and David originally aired November 3, 1995 in the sketch where Ronnie Dobbs is introduced. In the sketch a tribute band called "Puscifer" is highlighed then the singer says "You're guilty and you don't know it." Interestingly the tribute band in the show is actually musicians from the band Tool, singer Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Adam Jones.also worth mentioning Mandy Patinkin played himself in the spin off movie from the Mr. Show sketch Run Ronnie Run (2002). This is also the first incarnation of the band Puscifer.
