When Mills is discussing the claims of "freaks" who do "evil deeds they don't wanna do", he says "Jodie Foster told me to do it" - a reference to John Hinckley whose attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan was inspired by an obsession with Jodie Foster after having seen her in the 1976 film "Taxi Driver".
