Austin Powers - Il controspione

Dr. Evil's name is a take-off of Dr. No. Later in the film, Dr. Evil wears a transparent plastic protective suit with a jar-like section covering his head, just like the one Dr. No wears in the nuclear reactor room. Also, the scene where Dr. Evil talks about his weird European parents is possibly a comedic expansion of Dr. No's line about being the unwanted child of a German missionary and a Chinese girl.
