Planet Hulk
The garbage planet Sakaar, the arena, the revolution and some of the characters are taken the comics storyline "Planet Hulk", which was adapted more directly into this animated movie. They even partly recreated the battle with Hulk, with the difference that he did not fight with Thor, but with Thor's compatriot.
