Eddie Griffin was photoshop cast as the Mad Doctor specifically because of his famous pimp role TJ in this movie. At one point, the Mad Doctor even states that his stripper named is TJ Bigalow. Peorth also namedrops the movie stating that no Deuce Bigalow sequel will be enough to bail Eddie Griffin out of jail if he gets another DUI.
