La storia fantastica
When Shrek, Donkey and Puss are riding through the castle to stop Charming from kissing Fiona, Puss leaps off Donkey's back to fight and delay the guards chasing them. Shrek and Donkey stop but Puss tells Shrek to "Go, get your woman" then turns to face the guards saying "Time to repay my debt". This scene is a reference to a scene in "The Princess Bride" (1987) with Puss saying the identical lines that Inigo Montoya says (also in a very strong Spanish accent) allowing Westley to rescue Buttercup from her wedding to Prince Humperdinck.
