Lloyd Kaufman's cameo in the film doubles as a subversive reference to his film debut in "Rocky" (1976). In that film, he briefly appears as a drunken bar patron who is helped by Sylvester Stallone's character. In this film, he once again plays a drunken bar patron, but in an ironic twist, Stallone's character is shown to have been waiting outside the bar, never encountering Kaufman.
