After Carl Sturgis has seemingly been cleared of a murder charge, Thursday, obsessively convinced he is guilty, takes to following him about during his off-duty hours, shadowing Sturgis wherever he goes. This echoes Harry Callahan's relentless pursuit of "Scorpio" in his private time, after the latter has been released on a technicality.
